Chartis Acquires Leap AI to Boost Healthcare Innovation | Viventium Buys Perks4Care to Tackle Caregiver Retention

Chartis has acquired Leap AI to strengthen its capabilities in artificial intelligence and digital transformation across healthcare.

Leap AI specializes in building AI-driven solutions that support workflow automation, product innovation, and enhanced user experiences. The acquisition will see Leap AI’s leadership team join Chartis’ Center for AI & Digital Transformation under a new entity, the Chartis Leap AI Studio.

Chartis Chief AI & Digital Officer Tom Kiesau said the move will help healthcare organizations develop tailored AI solutions rather than relying on generic platforms. By combining expertise, the firms aim to design and deploy systems that address specific operational challenges and improve care delivery.

Leap AI leader Ali Paasimaa added that the partnership will expand the reach and impact of their innovation efforts across the industry.

In a separate development, Viventium has acquired Perks4Care to enhance its human capital management (HCM) offerings for post-acute care providers.

Perks4Care provides a recognition and rewards system that allows organizations to incentivize caregivers through points-based programs redeemable for benefits like gift cards. The platform is designed to improve engagement and retention—key challenges in the post-acute care sector.

The acquisition comes as staffing shortages continue to pressure healthcare providers. By integrating Perks4Care into its platform, Viventium aims to help organizations build stronger workplace cultures and better support their caregiving workforce.

Perks4Care was developed by industry veterans Joe Kraus and Linda Donev, who bring decades of experience in post-acute care operations and technology.

Viventium CEO Navin Gupta said the acquisition aligns with the company’s mission to improve caregiver experience by providing real-time recognition tools that help employees feel valued and supported.

Together, the two deals highlight continued investment in healthcare technology—spanning both AI-driven innovation and workforce-focused solutions.
